Most of us spend our lives in the pursuit of happiness, and hypnosis could be the answer for many. Applying its techniques to your life may improve your wellbeing in a number of ways.
Once you start to examine your daily life and surrounding influences it becomes evident how much they unconsciously affect you. Hypnosis can help you to realise that happiness and success begin and end within our own minds – they are internal constructs no amount of external ‘stuff’ can build.
‘In so many ways, the modern world is out of alignment with natural wisdom. There are lots of ‘messages’ asking us as a society to consider doing things in different ways to prevent things from further ‘falling apart’ – protests (political corruption), floods (environmental negligence), disease epidemics (overuse of antibiotics), riots (social inequality) or insane levels of busy-ness and other addictive behaviour (disconnection, dissatisfaction and denial). All of these point to problems in how we are living as a society.
You will enjoy life more after freeing your mind of all doubts, imagined inadequacies, grudges, and grumbles; letting go of a painful story if you feel you have one; dropping any feelings of having been a victim; relaxing your need for control; and stopping trying to manipulate yourself and others. When we drop our resistance to life, even in the most difficult of times, we discover a huge capacity to be at peace. Developing that capacity to relax into the flow of life and to bring a deep and strongly held sense of yes to everything – this is essentially what enlightenment is all about.’
